Pages and cover are fastened firmly, with no loose pages. Pages are quite flexible, with no tears or soil. The original owner put tiny, faint, neat checkmarks to mark passages on only a very few pages.
Cover has some soil and wear to corners and spine. The end paper just inside the back cover is rippled in the way it is glued.
Inside the cover is the original owner’s name in neat script with the address: 210 Army Hall, Tokyo, Japan. A member of the Occupying Forces, no doubt.
